Welcome to the Izaak Walton League - Berkeley County Chapter, WV

To strive for the purity of water, the clarity of air, and the wise
stewardship of the land and its resources. To know the beauty and
understanding of nature, and the value of wildlife, woodlands and
open space. To the preservation of this heritage and to man's sharing in it.
I pledge myself as a member of the Izaak Walton League of America.

General Membership Meetings:

All General Membership Meetings start at 7pm unless otherwise noted.

Thursday, May 5 - Meal to be served: Spaghetti with garlic bread and salad
Thursday, June 2 - Meal to be served: Fried chicken with baked potato and green beans
Thursday, July 7 - Meal to be served: Beef Roast with Mashed potatoes and corn
Thursday, August 4 - Meal to be served: Lasagna with garlic bread and salad
Thursday, September 1 - Meal to be served: Chicken and dumplings
Thursday, October 6 - Meal to be served: Crab soup with Ham sandwiches
Thursday, November 3 - Meal to be served: Thanksgiving Dinner

No General Membership Meeting in December.

The Board of Director's Meetings immediately follow the General Membership Meetings. Stay tuned for if there is a Board meeting in December.

April 1 - Fishing tournament starts
April 15 - Scout Feed - Dinner starts at 6:30pm
April 16 - Boater Safety Course (Contact John Dzienis)
April 17 - Camper placement day for permanent lot holders

May 7 - Dock Day - Starting at 7am
May 14 - Dock Day Rain Date - Starting at 7am
May 14 - Steak Feed - 1-5pm, $40/couple

June 4 - Adopt A Highway (Contact John Dzienis)
June 16 - All campers are to be moved from the right side of the boat ramp by 7pm for Handicap Day until the event is over on June 17
June 17 - Handicap Day - Starts at 9am - rain or shine group makes the decision to cancel and there will be no make-up

July 23 - Boat Inspections 10am-2pm
July 30 - Temporary Camping Meeting 11am

August 6 - Family Picnic - Starts at 1pm - Bring a covered dish. No golf carts allowed in the playground/pavilion area. All carts/atv can park on the outer edge of area.

September 25 - Anything stored in the field area must be taken home or moved to prep for the Haunted Trails. Any item left will be moved by the Board of Directors and a fee charged.

October - Haunted Trails - Every Saturday in October (1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th) - see top of main page for more details
October 8 - Dock Day - Docks to be taken out starting at 7am
October 15 - Dock Day - Rain date
October 15 - Adopt A Highway (Contact John Dzienis)
October 16 - Kid's Halloween Party - 1pm
October 30 - Fishing tournament ends

November 13 - Campground water will be turned off starting at 8am
November 19 - All campers on the first and second rows must be removed

December 10 - Christmas Party - $5.00 per person and bring a covered dish
